Bosquepiedra Natural Reserve

Bosquepiedra is a private native forest reserve located on the south side of Huillinco Lake. It has a beautiful touristic trail of low difficulty and enormous scenic beauty, quite botanical information displayed on handmade signs. The "Garden of Lichens" is unique, a must for those interested in biodiversity.

 

Here you will enjoy the tranquility of the native forest in solitude. Ideal for bird watchers and nature photographers. Its name "Bosquepiedra" meaning stone forest comes from the rock outcrop along a watercourse, rare geological feature in Chiloé.

Hike a trail of 1.6 km by evergreen forest, low difficulty.

Season: all year.

Full day tour

Schedule: 9:30 - 17:30

Visit Lake Huillinco, hike on Bosquepiedra Trail and visit the Pacific Coast and town of Chonchi.

Half day tour

Schedule: 9:30 - 14:00

Visit Lake Huillinco and hike on Bosquepiedra Trail.
